OVERVIEW: Urban Teachers was founded in 2009 to solve a critical challenge in urban education: new teacher quality. Through a rigorous 4-year training program, Urban Teachers ensures that every aspiring teacher receives the experiences and support they need to produce results with students, and that urban students get the teachers they deserve. Locations include Baltimore, DC, Dallas/Fort Worth, and in the future additional cities.
