ACTIVITIES: Participants serve in a wide variety of different nonprofits, ranging from the arts to community development, social service to environmental affairs. PULSE has worked with over 125 nonprofits in Pittsburgh. Participants are matched with organizations based on their career interests.

COMMITMENT: 11 months (August-September)

OVERVIEW: PULSE cultivates a community of young servant leaders to transform Pittsburgh. We invite talented university graduates to partner with Pittsburgh nonprofits for a year of service, leadership, and community. Participants receive room and board, food and public transportation costs, health insurance coverage, and a modest monthly stipend.
