Precious Blood Volunteers

ACTIVITIES: Precious Blood Volunteers serve people who are marginalized in Kansas City, Missouri and Chicago, IL. Placements in health care, education, social services, legal aid, and restorative justice (PBMR in Chicago). Live in community with other volunteers. Volunteers receive a stipend, bus pass, room, board and health insurance (if needed).

REQUIREMENTS: Desire to serve the poor. Willingness to participate in community life. Open-minded and respectful.

PLACEMENTS: KC CARE Clinic (large, free health clinic); Cristo Rey-KC; Bishop Sullivan Center at Saint James Place (social service agency); Legal Aid of Western Missouri; Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation (PBMR) in Chicago
