Mercy Volunteer Corps

ACTIVITIES: Mercy Volunteer Corps promotes social change by placing and supporting volunteers for one year of service with people who are experiencing injustices, in any form, in the United States and Guyana, South America. Mercy Volunteers work in education, healthcare, and social services while growing spiritually and living simply in community.

COMMITMENT: 12 months

OVERVIEW: Mercy Volunteer Corps seeks to model service that is characterized by mutuality and respect in the fields of education, healthcare, and social services. Applicants have a choice in where they serve, and the program size allows for applicants to get the necessary amount of individual attention from initial recruitment through the end of their year-long service commitment. Currently have 10 domestic sites and 1 international site (Guyana).
