OVERVIEW: L’Arche GWDC is a faith-based non-profit community that provides life-long homes for people with intellectual disabilities. While L’Arche is similar to a typical group home, it is radically different because of the way we value the gifts of each person, and because of the emphasis we place on relationships between those with intellectual disabilities, the core people, and those without, the assistants, who live together in the homes.
