FOCUS: Missionary emphasis

ACTIVITIES: Meet spiritual and material needs of poor by delivering groceries, helping new and expectant mothers, conducting in-home bible studies, and inviting individuals to church. Accompany the poor.

REQUIREMENTS: Practicing Catholics willing to minister through the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. Daily Mass and morning and evening prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours.

OVERVIEW: Volunteers befriend the poor, spending time with them to build authentic relationships and understand their needs. Minister to adults and families living in project neighborhoods or homeless camps in Washington, DC and Kansas City, MO. Full-time volunteers live in community together, attend daily Mass, and pray together every day.
