Kevin Allen is the communications assistant program director for the Center for Social Concerns. He joined the center in 2023 after serving for six years as director of marketing communications for Notre Dame Law School.
From 2004 to 2017, he worked at newspapers in Virginia, Michigan, and Indiana, including the South Bend Tribune from 2009 to 2017. His main beats as a newspaper reporter were business and politics. He has covered tech startups and Fortune 500 companies as well as congressional campaigns and the Indiana General Assembly. He was a board member for the Society of Professional Journalists, Indiana Professional Chapter, from 2014 to 2016.
He earned his B.A. in anthropology with a second major in environmental sciences from the University of Notre Dame, where he participated in several Center for Social Concerns programs as a student. He received his MBA from Indiana University South Bend.
