Center for the Homeless – CELC SITE

FOCUS: To offer life-changing services and programs for 200 men, women, children, and military veterans as they work to break the cycle of homelessness.

ACTIVITIES: Volunteers assist in our adult education and workplace readiness programs, front desk, youth services, food service, donations, community garden (seasonal), and administrative areas.

HOURS: The front desk is open 24 hours and seven days per week. The director of community involvement is available Mondays – Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for group service.

REQUIREMENTS: All volunteers must attend a volunteer orientation prior to starting. Contact Madelyn at mmartinec@cfh.net or visit www.cfh.net for upcoming dates for the orientation. All volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes when volunteering in any service area.
