Summer Service Learning Program

The Summer Service Learning Program

The application for 2022 is now closed - check back in the Fall for information about 2023

How do my actions contribute to the common good? What are ways that I can practice solidarity with the marginalized? How can I use my skills to promote justice and human dignity? In the Summer Service Learning Program (SSLP), students serve for eight weeks with non-profit organizations related to healthcare, poverty, immigration, education, and other social issues.

Sponsored by Notre Dame Clubs across the country, SSLP students receive up to $3,000 and three credits toward a variety of minors and majors. Students develop experience in their field while standing side by side with all people, working for "a world where justice and love prevail." (Constitution of the Congregation of the Holy Cross)
