Squirrel Hill Health Center

Squirrel Hill Health Center provides patient-driven, high-quality, comprehensive, primary and preventive healthcare and support services, without regard for patients’ insurance status or ability to pay. SHHC strives to create a welcoming environment, with special sensitivity for patients’ race, national origin, primary language, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability status.

Lutheran Congregational Services/Lutheran Children and Family Service

Lutheran Children and Family Service (LCFS) is a non-profit human services organization dedicated to protecting and empowering vulnerable children, youth, and families throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. Working in close partnership with faith-based and nonsectarian community organizations throughout the region, LCFS serves its constituents through a diverse range of culturally sensitive ministries of care, nurturing, advocacy, and counseling.

Tree Street Youth

In July 2011, Tree Street Youth Center opened to meet the challenge of providing low-income youth the opportunity to learn and grow in a nurturing environment. Located in the heart of downtown Lewiston at 144 Howe Street, it serves as a vibrant hub of daily youth-driven activity for 120-150 students in grades K-12 and is the only center solely focused on meeting the educational and social needs of at-risk youth. The Center is strategically located directly across from the Governor Longley Elementary School and on the walk route to both Lewiston Middle and High Schools.


Catholic Charities of San Antonio

The Refugee Resettlement Services Dept. receives funding from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Refugee Services of Texas and other funding sources to distribute federal resettlement funds, to newly arriving refugees from all over the world. This department provides professional staff assistance to individuals and families entering the United States as refugees. Specifically, the student will assist staff in working with refugee youth and their families in the Refugee School Impact program and in the Refugee Social Services-Adult Education program.


Catholic Charities Atlanta, Refugee Resettlement Services and Immigration Legal Services

The Refugee Resettlement division of Catholic Charities assists with the reception and placement of families who have fled their home countries due to persecution because of their race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, political opinion, or national origin. Programs include employment services, home management, crisis intervention and health care management.

Community Refugee & Immigration Services

Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS) is an independent non-profit organization that serves the growing refugee and immigrant populations in Central Ohio. CRIS' mission is to help refugees and immigrants reach safety and stability, sustain self-sufficiency, and achieve successful integration into the Central Ohio community. As a refugee resettlement agency we have a contract with the Department of State to directly receive and place refugees in our community, but we also offer a wide array of other services for refugees, immigrants, and asylees.
