Seton Teaching Fellows

ACTIVITIES: Fellows work as elementary classroom teachers or support staff at Brilla College Prep, a “no excuses” public charter school. They also lead El Camino, an optional, extended-day faith formation and enrichment program. Fellows receive $1,000/monthly stipend and live with their peers in a Catholic faith community, contributing $200/month toward rent for their private apartment. Utilities and internet included. Possible access to an AmeriCorps education award.

OVERVIEW: Fellows serve underprivileged children in the South Bronx as they develop the knowledge, character, and faith necessary to earn a college degree, pursue lives of integrity, and become saints.
