OVERVIEW: Echo is a two-year postgraduate service opportunity that invites Catholic young adults to serve in full-time ministry in Catholic parishes or teach theology in Catholic middle schools or high schools in one of Echo’s partner dioceses while living in community. Echo students concurrently work toward a tuition-free Master of Arts in Theology at the University of Notre Dame during the summers. Students have the full resources of the University at their disposal including access to the University’s best theological educators and formators. Students will receive a generous yearly stipend, health insurance, free housing and utilities (both on-campus and off) and an educational allowance in support of their work and formation.

In Echo, you will ask essential questions…questions that probe not just what you will do with your life, but the person you will become. We are looking to form innovative Catholic leaders…not just people who will serve the Church formally, but men and women who will take what they’ve learned and lead in medicine, law, publishing, counseling, and social work (to name a few areas!).
