Stephanie Helm joined the Institute for Social Concerns in 2022 as an IT solutions consultant. She currently splits her time between the institute and undergraduate education. Before joining the institute, she worked in Notre Dame’s Arts and Letters Computing Office and Campus Services. In recognition of her contributions, Stephanie received the University’s Team Irish Award in 2025.
Stephanie has more than 20 years of experience in information technology. Her work focuses on developing creative technology solutions, streamlining processes, and helping faculty, staff, and students make the most of the tools available to them. She is passionate about finding innovative ways to solve challenges and is committed to ensuring that technology enhances teaching, learning, and community engagement rather than becoming a barrier.
Stephanie earned her B.A. from Indiana University and continues to learn new tools that improve collaboration and efficiency.
