Paula Muhlherr works as senior administrative assistant for Catholic social tradition at the Institute for Social Concerns. She is the administrator for the institute’s Catholic social tradition and poverty studies interdisciplinary minors, SPIRE: The Global Catholic Social Tradition Research Network, and carceral engagement programs. Paula organizes conferences and events including a biennial Catholic social tradition conference and international conferences related to SPIRE. As the Institute’s registrar, she handles academic matters for our students, faculty, and staff and acts as the Institute’s liaison with the University registrar’s office as well as its campus partners. Paula has been with the University since 1994. Before joining the institute staff in April 2006, Paula served the University of Notre Dame Law School’s National Institute for Trial Advocacy as the associate operations manager
Prior to her time at Notre Dame, Paula spent eight years working in private law firms in Houston, Texas.
Paula holds a bachelor of science in organizational management from Bethel University, Indiana.
