Experiential Learning

Students must complete a total of three credits of approved experiential learning coursework. They may bundle any one-credit option to reach three credits. Experiential learning credits may be S/U. These courses have the PSCE attribute.

PSCE Experiential Learning Courses Include:

• Institute for Social Concerns one-credit Justice Education courses. Note that these courses change from semester to semester.
• SOC 45000 Local Internship, 3 credits
• Pre-approved internships in other departments, pre-approved by the director 
• Shepherd Higher Education Consortium Summer Internship. Note there is an application and interview process for this option. Application, eligibility, and stipend details here.
