Just Action: How to Challenge Segregation Enacted Under the Color of Law with authors Leah and Richard Rothstein

Monday, Feb. 26; 12:30–1:30 p.m.
Eck Hall of Law, McCartan Courtroom

Join Notre Dame Law School for a book discussion on “Just Action: How to Challenge Segregation Enacted Under the Color of Law” with authors Leah and Richard Rothstein. All are welcome, lunch will be provided. RSVP here.

Residential segregation, a key factor in serious social and economic issues in every U.S. metropolitan area, has been incorrectly perceived as de facto. Richard Rothstein’s bestselling books, The Color of Law and “Just Action” (co-authored with Leah Rothstein), reveal that it stems from explicit and unconstitutional government policies. “Just Action” outlines practical strategies for local groups to address segregation, aiming to build a national movement through achievable local victories.

Notre Dame Law School’s Department of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is hosting the event.

Co-sponsored by the Notre Dame School of Architecture, Notre Dame Center for Social Concerns, Black Law Students Association, American Constitution Society, and Real Estate Law Society.
