David is a world-renowned scholar of Tibetan Buddhism. He is the founder and director of the UVA’s Contemplative Sciences Center, and has been a global leader of questions on promoting flourishing in institutions of higher education. He is also the founder of two global networks on the topic of flourishing. His current research is focused on contemplative practice.
