
2023 Student Awards
Each year, the Center celebrates hundreds of students who have demonstrated a commitment to justice and the common good throughout their time at Notre Dame. We are excited to recognize 4 students in the following award categories.
- Sr. Thea Bowman Award (2 Students) – The Sr. Thea Bowman award is given annually to two undergraduate students who have exemplified a commitment to justice and dignity through active engagement within and outside the campus community and who demonstrate a sense of vocation dedicated to the common good.
- Undergraduate Research Award (1 Student) – The undergraduate research award is given annually to one student for a major piece of original, independent research (paper or thesis) addressing a question of justice and/or promoting the common good.
- Graduate Research Award (1 Student) – The graduate research award is given annually to one student for the Best dissertation in any field addressing a question of justice and/or promoting the common good.
The deadline for nomination is Monday April 24 at 5:00 p.m. Anyone is eligible to nominate a student.
