Rosie Binette ’27 is a neuroscience and behavior major on the pre-med track from Westchester, New York, currently living in Johnson Family Hall. At the institute, she has worked as a part of Genesis, traveled to Morehead, Kentucky, to work with Frontier Housing as a part of Appalachia Seminar, and taken a few of her favorite classes for her poverty studies minor. When she’s not working for the Hospitality Team or studying in the Geddes Hall Coffee House, she is also a tour guide and a captain for Baraka Bouts, the women’s club boxing at Notre Dame. She is involved in a neuroscience research lab and has volunteered with various South Bend organizations, such as South Bend Center for the Homeless and La Casa de Amistad. Following graduation, she plans to attend medical school to become a physician.
