Are you interested in Catholic Social Teaching (CST) Are you thinking about AI? Join our fall CST and AI reading group!
Did you know: The Vatican published a document in January of 2025 on Artificial Iintelligence (AI). Its called Antiqua et Nova and drew from work happening at Notre Dame. Notre Dame professors are part of the work contributing to the development of church doctrine in the area of AI.
CST isn’t something that happened in the past. Church doctrine continues to be developed today. It’s also happening with the help of professors here at Notre Dame.
Professors working on CST and AI at Notre Dame will lead a reading group of Antiqua Et Nova, a recent Vatican letter on artificial intelligence and human intelligence.
The CST & AI Book Club will meet from 5-6pm on September 10, September 17, September 24, and October 1.
Sponsored by the Institute for Social Concerns and co-sponsored by the Lucy Family Institute and the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture.
