Kimberly Green Reeves

Kimberly Green Reeves has been with Beacon Health System (Memorial Hospital) since 2012. As the director of community impact she oversees health outreach efforts for Community Hospital of Bremen, Elkhart General Hospital, and Memorial Hospital South Bend. She ensures with others on the team there are effective, equitable, and sustainable models and processes in place to prevent disease and promote health in communities. Understanding that communities are experts in their own right she manages collaborative work with nonprofit organizations who are committed to improving health outcomes throughout the region.  Kimberly received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Holy Cross College, Notre Dame and a Master of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University of South Bend. She is currently on three Boards of Directors – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Lake Michigan Region, Oaklawn, and United Way of St. Joseph County. She also serves on the African American Community Foundation Committee and the Indiana 211 Advisory Board with the Family and Social Service Administration. Kimberly was recognized for Michiana 40 under 40 class of 2019 for her leadership both at work and in the community. She and her husband, Steve, have three beautiful daughters. She is excited about the opportunity to do meaningful work across the Michiana region that embraces the fundamentals of trauma informed care and health equity while addressing disparities in care, and social determinants (correlatives) in health in an effort to create self-healing communities.
