Site Description:

The Bridge Project helps children living in Denver’s public housing neighborhoods to achieve their academic potential and graduate from high school with the resources necessary to succeed as adults. The 8-week Summer Program focuses on Literacy, STEM, Health & Wellness and Social Development through activities, classes/groups, and field trips for the participants. The SSLP student’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching/facilitating classes, building meaningful relationships with youth and staff, and organizing activities and events.

Student Responsibilities:
Students will be responsible for supporting our comprehensive 8-week summer program. There is a strong emphasis on literacy as well as technology, project based learning, enrichment activities, and health and wellness. This may include co-facilitating groups/classes, supervising and/or planning recreational activities, and staffing field trips.
