Ed Jurkovic is a justice education program director at the Institute for Social Concerns, joining the institute in May 2025. In this role, he develops, delivers, and oversees curricular and co-curricular justice education programs for undergraduate students. This includes a focus on the academic and programmatic integration of the principles of Catholic social teaching, forming students who can respond to the demands of justice in their chosen field of study and beyond. Before joining the institute, Ed spent six years as a program manager with Notre Dame’s Pulte Institute for Global Development, working primarily in the field of international education.

Prior to working at Notre Dame, Ed taught through the Alliance for Catholic Education.

Ed holds a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in information technology management from the University of Notre Dame.
