Rostro de Cristo

Volunteers serve in a variety of positions: teaching, tutoring, facilitating after-school programs, community outreach and organizing, leading retreat groups, assisting in parish activities, working at a hospital for Hansen’s Disease, and working with social services agencies. RdC also hosts 25 week-long immersion retreats for high school and college students each year; each full-year volunteer will lead two or three of these groups.

Rostro de Cristo (face of Christ in Spanish) is a year long service program in Guayaquil, Ecuador. We have a wide variety of service opportunities but our main mission is to be present with our neighbors, to live in solidarity with them, and to be the face of Christ for them and each other. Rostro de Cristo also hosts and mentors mission-immersion experiences for 7-10 days for high school and college students.
