Notre Dame Mission Volunteers
FOCUS: NDMV develops leaders through education and compassionate service that sparks confidence to learn and agency to transform communities.
ACTIVITIES: Volunteers serve with local partners to expand access to education, health, food security and community resources. At the heart of NDMV is relationship-centered service: one-on-one and small group support; mentoring youth; coaching adults working toward academic or career goals; and helping families navigate community resources.

COMMITMENT: Full year (August through June) or half year (January through June)
OVERVIEW: NDMV is a national service organization that partners with communities across the United States by placing AmeriCorps Volunteers at local schools and nonprofits for a year of service. Volunteers receive a living allowance and Education Award while gaining hands-on professional experience at their service sites and receiving accompaniment and leadership training through NDMV.
