The Fralin Free Clinic is a faith-based, non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the underserved. We are committed to delivering vital healthcare services, including medical, mental health, optometry, and dental care, to those in need. Student Role

The student’s daily activities encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including patient assistance with check-in and paperwork, clinical support such as recording medical histories and vital signs, administrative duties like appointment scheduling and record-keeping, and offering health education sessions. Student volunteers contribute to community outreach efforts, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and provide emotional support to patients facing health challenges.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm with an occasional evening

Housing Information

Students will reside on-site in shared apartments alongside individuals actively engaged in a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) recovery program. As part of this immersive experience, students will be encouraged to actively participate in a variety of recovery-focused classes and engaging activities designed to promote sobriety and personal growth.

Start And End Dates

Students must choose the same eight consecutive weeks between May 17 and August 16, 2026.
