Description
We are a church and a day shelter and outreach program to serve the homeless throughout the front range. We feed, provide clothing, offer showers and pastoral care. We have a one to two-year residential discipleship community for men coming out of homelessness. We also offer transitional housing for men coming out of prison while they secure housing and employment.
Student Role
Students will work in our facility doing day shelter duties every weekday morning serving homeless individuals food, giving out clothing and coordinating showers. After the morning day shelter is finished they will either go out on the street outreach to serve more food and give out more clothing to homeless people at various locations in Denver or making food at our location that will be served at a later outreach. For business students we have office operational duties and Marketing and Development opportunities as well.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday: day shelter operations from 6:30am-9:30am. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:30am-12:30pm: street outreach. Monday -Friday: administrative work and development available.

Orientation will occur over zoom with students and the Chief of Staff and departmental directors.
