Description
Our organization’s focus on the delivery of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) enrichment and education. STEM is essential for children’s future success in today’s workforce. Many students from underserved communities like Camden, find these subjects intimidating and boring. Teachers also face significant challenges when teaching STEM topics in the classroom. This is caused by lack of adequate preparation in STEM subjects, limited access to necessary materials and technology, time constraints for planning engaging lessons, and sometimes a lack of confidence in delivering complex STEM concepts to students. As a result, the Camden Dream Center helps educators, parents, and students find ways to make STEM education fun and engaging. We provide creative interdisciplinary STEM learning opportunities that allow children to explore STEM concepts in a hands-on modality.
