HELP of Southern Nevada

HELP of Southern Nevada was started by the Junior League of Las Vegas and was incorporated in 1970. It is a 501 (c) (3) organization that has grown exponentially since the inception, from an organization that served fewer than three hundred people a year, to one that will serve over 100,000 unduplicated people in a fiscal year.


The Children's Center

The Children's Center Rehabilitation Hospital is a private, nonprofit hospital located in Bethany, Oklahoma. It is the only pediatric rehabilitation hospital that provides the level of care needed for Oklahoma children with complex medical conditions or who are recovering from traumatic injuries.

Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels

The Cathedral Outreach Center serves the needs of homeless, working poor individuals and families around downtown Los Angeles.
•Each week a team of dedicated volunteers prepares and delivers over a thousand meals to several shelters.
•We collaborate with UCLA mobile eye clinic in providing free eye exam and prescription glasses.
•Provide pastoral visits to Men’s Central Jail (requirement: the student must be 21 years old).
•Prepare over 600 hygiene kits and distribute to several shelters throughout Los Angeles area.


Ronald McDonald House of Durham

Built with love, the Ronald McDonald House of Durham offers a comforting home away from home and a community of support for seriously ill children and their families.


Hand in Hand Ministries - Louisville

Hand in Hand Ministries believes that building strong communities around the world begins at home. We strengthen our own community by opening the hearts and minds to the needs of others through our unique immersion trip program. We provide resources for the economically vulnerable through our on-going programs in Louisville (KY), Belize, Nicaragua and Appalachia (KY) that focuses on safe housing, education and health care. In all that we do, we seek to build community, one person, one family at a time.


Dismas Family Farm

Dismas Family Farm is a 35 acre organic residential farm program for homeless and former prisoners, in addition to staff and students participating in the community life. At the farm, residents participate in farm chores, from care of animals, to woodshop, farm equipment, planting, restaurant delivery, farmers market management and more. Clients receive a battery of mental health and case management services to help them in their community recovery and reentry process.


American YouthWorks

Casa Verde Builders at American YouthWorks in Austin, TX, is a national leader in combining green building with affordable housing and the educational needs of Austin youth. Over the past 15 years AmeriCorps members & students from our charter high school have worked together to build over 90 green-built homes for low-income, first time home buyers.

Catholic Charities - Dallas (old)

The SSLP student will be placed at the Brady Center Senior Program that provides nutritional meals, social services, and recreational activities to the indigent elderly. Other services include mobile health screenings and transportation to the Center and to doctor's appointments. Catholic Charities of Dallas provides congregate meals and senior center programming to over 700 seniors annually at two locations in Dallas: one on the west side of the city and another located on the southeast side of the downtown area.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Traverse City

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Traverse City offers tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis. It is this personalized involvement that makes the work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Traverse City unique. This aid may take the form of intervention, consultation or often through direct dollar or in-kind service for citizens living in Grand Traverse and Leelanau counties. The student splits his or her time between St. Vincent de Paul and the Fr. Fred Foundation.


Catholic Charities of Central Colorado

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado is a local non-profit agency serving all people, regardless of race or religion, who come to us to help answer needs and improve lives. Catholic Charities of Central Colorado was founded in 1968 to provide compassionate, competent and professional services that strengthen and support individuals, families and communities based on the value and dignity of human life. Students help provide client assistance, case management, life skills, food, and other needs.
