Guadalupe Center

The mission of the Guadalupe Center is to break the cycle of poverty through education for the children of Immokalee.


UCP of Central Florida

United Cerebral Palsey (UCP) of Central Florida was originally formed in 1955 to serve young children with cerebral palsy. Since then we have evolved to serve children with a variety of disabilities in a SET (Support, Education and Therapy) services. Our education programs are inclusive - serving children with and without disabilities. The SSLP student is able to work with our services, in summer program classrooms, which include day care for pre-k and below children with and without disabilities, voluntary pre-kindergarden program, and summer camp for our elementary students.

Green Chimneys Children's Services - Residential Treatment Center

"Green Chimneys is a multi-faceted nonprofit organization helping young people to maximize their full potential by providing residential, educational, clinical and recreational services that create and nurture connections to the community and the natural world…Green Chimneys offers day and residential programs for students who have been unsuccessful in traditional education environments and who require a small, structured and supportive setting.

City Gospel Mission

City Gospel Mission exists to serve and minister to the poor and to break the cycle of poverty and despair one life at a time. We do this through the following four cause areas: 1) homeless services, 2) addiction recovery, 3) job readiness and placement, and 4) youth development. DeSales Service Works

DeSales Service Works is a volunteer service program of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. DSW exists to impact the lives of others and to Live Jesus! We provide opportunities for face-to-face service, and all of our efforts seek to improve struggling neighborhoods while recognizing the goodness of these impoverished communities. SSLP students will live on site and assist with all of our ministries.

San Miguel School Chicago

The mission of San Miguel School is to transform the lives of our students, their families and communities through education, by touching hearts and inspiring minds. San Miguel School serves students who are academically at-risk and whose families are economically disadvantaged.

Clark Park - Holy Redeemer Grade School - Manna Meal

Surrounded by historic homes, schools, busy shops, and local services, Clark Park is 30 acres of landscaped and playscaped green space in the heart of Mexicantown in southwest Detroit. For years, the park has been the cornerstone and town square of the neighborhood. It provides a safe haven for everyone -- a place where kids, families, and seniors unwind, explore, and participate in many different activities, including team sports. It remains the community's anchor, providing four seasons of programming for thousands of young people.

Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County

The Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County has three primary locations in South Bend and additional sites in Mishawaka. All sites follow a standardized curriculum of summer activity steeped in educational enrichment through arts/games/health & fitness/sports & recreation/literacy and various camps & field excursions. The student is trained and asked to help plan and facilitate activities for summer programming.


Green River PACT

PACT is located in the rural desert town of Green River, Utah. In this town of 950, PACT provides a variety of social services, operating the Pyramid Youth Programs afterschool and summer programs, Green River Thrift Store, Oasis Food Programs, a community garden, and the Cottonwoods on the Green affordable apartments. We believe that Green River residents deserve the same access to resources and quality programs that affluent suburbs and the strong network of urban nonprofits provide their citizens.

Mercy Center

Mercy Center is a comprehensive community center that has been serving women and their families in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx, NY for 30 years. We address the needs of the whole person, developing skills for healthy family living and economic advancement and building a community of respect, hospitality and non-violence. Mercy Center provides a range of programs and services to our participants, most of whom are immigrants and almost two-thirds of whom survive on annual household incomes of less than $20,000.
