Community organizations who are interested in being considered a partner of the Center for Social Concerns and added to our Community Partners Directory, should review the guidelines and application process on this page. 

Recommend a Partnership or Opportunity 

The Center for Social Concerns at the University of Notre Dame is committed to working closely and effectively with our many community partners. If you have an interest in and expected capacity to connect with Notre Dame faculty, staff, and students, use this page to submit potential project information. 

Community-Engaged Learning Coordinators

Community-Engaged Learning Coordinators (CELCs) are members of seven key South Bend area partner agencies who have a special commitment as part of their position to focus on academic community engagement with Notre Dame faculty and students. 

Community Fellows Program

Community Fellows are professionals in the local community with a strong history of making a positive social impact. Through their expertise, they enhance research and teaching at the University by connecting community and campus on a variety of social concerns.

Community Engagement Preparation Modules

This page provides a set of brief, interactive modules that review many of the topics needed to be an effective volunteer. Each module includes key terms, background information, best practices, and resource lists for an important topic for volunteers

Community Engagement Coordinating Council

The Community Engagement Coordinating Council (CECC) seeks to integrate and amplify University efforts that reflect its commitment to community engagement for the common good.
