Social Concerns Seminars offer students the opportunity to examine social issues from various perspectives, read relevant texts, study the role of Catholic social tradition, and participate in creating active learning communities during the entire course of the seminar. Spring 2021 seminars will consider topics including migration, mental illness, race and incarceration, and more. While there will be no immersion component during the spring 2021 semester, students will develop initiatives aimed at engaging the campus community in critical issues related to justice and the Catholic Social Tradition.
