About the film The Devil and Miss Jones
The Devil and Miss Jones stars Jean Arthur as Mary Jones, a department store worker, and Charles Coburn as John P. Merrick, a wealthy tycoon. When Merrick learns that his employees are planning to unionize the store, he takes on the guise of a department store worker to catch the activists undetected. Once he enters their lives, Merrick begins to have a change of heart.
