About the film On the Basis of Sex

This 2018 film directed by Mimi Leder and starring Felicity Jones tells the story of a young Ruth Bader Ginsberg as she navigates life as a struggling attorney and new mother. When Ruth takes on a groundbreaking tax case with her husband, attorney Martin Ginsburg, she knows it could change the direction of her career and the way the courts view gender discrimination.
