Submissions will be reviewed by South Bend artists Laurie Rousseau and Ramiro Rodriguez, chief art preparator, Snite Museum of Art. Selected pieces will be showcased at the Center for Social Concerns from April 21–24. First prize, $300; second prize, $200, third prize $100, audience prize (to be selected by visitors to the exhibit) $100.

Riddle Bird Café with Poetic Melody

The opening of this exhibit coincides with the final Riddle Bird Café event of the semester featuring Poetic Melody, a South Bend native and founder of the Poetry Den. The café hosts spoken word and musical performances on justice from diverse perspectives.

This event is a partnership between the Center for Social Concerns, the Department of Art, Art History, and Design, the Office of the Vice President for Mission, Saint Mary's College, and the Common Good Initiatives, Holy Cross College.
