Application Close: Community-Impact Grants

Monday, February 10, 2020 - 4:30pm

The Center for Social Concerns seeks to advance its mission by awarding Community Impact Grants to Notre Dame faculty, students, staff, and community partners for community-engaged research, teaching, and learning that enact the values of Catholic social tradition. Successful grant proposals will be collaborative among campus and community partners and advance academic community engagement with an aim toward social justice impact.

We highly encourage projects that align with our special interests for the 2019–20 academic year:

Economic equity/poverty/just wage
Educational equity
Criminal justice
Environmental justice

Connections to our 2019–20 Catholic social tradition theme, “Act Justly," addressing racism, are also prioritized.

Community Impact Grant proposals are reviewed once in the fall and once in the spring. The spring 2020 application will be open from December 16, 2019 through February 10, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. Proposals should be planned and submitted a full semester before the project start date. Applicants may request grants up to $15,000.
