2024 Student Awards

Each year, the Center celebrates hundreds of students who have demonstrated a commitment to justice and the common good throughout their time at Notre Dame. We are excited to recognize 2 students in the following award categories.

  • Sr. Thea Bowman Award – The Sr. Thea Bowman award is given annually to an undergraduate student who has exemplified a commitment to justice and dignity through active engagement within and outside the campus community and who demonstrates a sense of vocation dedicated to the common good.
  • Undergraduate Research Award – The undergraduate research award is given annually to a student for a major piece of original, independent research (paper or thesis) addressing a question of justice and/or promoting the common good. 

The deadline for nomination is Sunday, May 5. Anyone is eligible to nominate a student.
