The Center for Social Concerns serves as the University of Notre Dame’s liaison to Indiana Campus Compact (ICC), which promotes Community Service and Service Learning on college and university campuses throughout the state of Indiana. ICC’s mission states that:
Indiana Campus Compact is committed to promoting programs that reinforce Indiana colleges and universities objectives as active and involved members of their communities. Indiana Campus Compact member campuses seek to involve students, faculty, and the entire campus in community service in order to fulfill higher education's most noble goals of educating citizens, preparing tomorrow's leaders, and contributing to the life of America's communities. Indiana Campus Compact supports the integration of community service into the cultures of its member campuses by facilitating collaborations, sponsoring programs, advocating policy, and promoting public awareness.
