Week of November 5 Pick up Course-packet at the CSC and begin readings for orientation courses
Wednesday, November 7 6:00-8:00 pm. 1st Orientation at CSC upstairs conference room—Introduction to seminar, explain fee, discuss transportation, etc. over a meal. Guest Presenter: Fr. Chris Cox, C.S.C. , Pastor of St. Adalbert's will discuss local immigration issues. Class will view "Dying to Live: A Migrant's Journey" and discuss first group of readings. Theology
Friday, November 9 Last Day to drop without incurring the full $100 fee
Wednesday, November 14 5:30-7:30 pm. 2nd Orientation at CSC upstairs conference room—Guest presenter: Professor and ILS Associate Director Allert Brown-Gort. Class will discuss second group of readings. Economics and Immigration

Thursday, January 3 – Tuesday, January 8 Border Issues Seminar in El Paso/Juarez.  Arrive in El Paso between 2-5 pm on January 3. Depart after 2:00 pm on January 8, 2008
Wednesday, January 16 5:30-7:30 pm Follow - up meeting/dinner - La Esperanza Restaurant
