Latino Leadership Intern Program 2008

Fees: $50.00 participation fee to accepted students

Application Deadline: November 21, 2007

Eight students will be immersed as interns in community-based organizations in the Little Village and Pilsen neighborhoods of Chicago, Cicero and Berwyn for eight weeks to live as members of, learn from, and serve the Latino community. Successful applicants must be fluent in Spanish, have a strong interest in issues facing the Latino community, and significant previous service experience.

The Internship will provide:

  • Living quarters and small stipend for food
  • $2300.00 tuition scholarship
  • All materials for 3-credit course (May be taken as CST 33933, ILS 35801, OR THEO 33933)
