Rosie R. McDowell

Rosie R. McDowell is the Director of Student Outreach for Service and Social Action.  In this position she oversees the Student Service and Social Action Groups and works with the Social Concerns Commissioners from each residence hall. McDowell also collaborates with the staff of the University Writing Program and local agencies to provide service-learning opportunities for students in the First Year Composition-Community Based Learning courses each semester. She also coordinates the Hispanic Leadership Internship Program, part of the Summer Service Project.

Prior to joining the Center Staff, McDowell worked as a Community-Based Learning Coordinator at LOGAN Center and co-directed the Notre Dame's foreign study program in Angers, France.  She earned her BA in French and Economics from Notre Dame in 1993 and her Master of Nonprofit Administration degree from Notre Dame in 2007.
