Paula Muhlherr

Paula Muhlherr is the Office Manager of the Center for Social Concerns. Paula is also the Senior Administrative Assistant to Bill Purcell, Associate Director of Catholic Social Tradition and Practice (and the CST Minor) and James Paladino, Associate Director of Program and Resource Administration. In her capacity as the Office Manager, Paula handles various human resource/personnel matters and facilities issues, oversees Center-wide special events and hospitality, and manages the student worker program. Paula also oversees a variety of special projects for the Center.

Paula has been with the University since August of 1994. Prior to joining the Center staff in April of 2006, Paula served the University of Notre Dame Law School’s National Institute for Trial Advocacy as the Associate Operations Manager. Before moving to South Bend, Paula spent eight years working in private law firms in Houston, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Bethel College.

As President of the Board of Directors for Prevent Child Abuse of St. Joseph County and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, Paula is thankful for the opportunity to help and protect children in our community.
