Postgraduate Service: Report Investigates Who Serves & Why

CSC News & Reflections
Summer 2004

Why do so many students participate in postgraduate service? Does the percentage of students electing postgraduate service change with economic conditions? What programs attract students? From what colleges do students come? Do more men participate than women?

To explore these ideas, the Center for Social Concerns recently published the seventh installment of its Research Report series, “As Learning Becomes Service to Justice: Postgraduate Service Participation.”

Research Report 7 can be read on the Center’s Web site at http://centerforsocialconcerns.nd.edu. To request a hard copy, send an email to ndcntrsc@nd.edu or call (574) 631-5293
