Facilities & Resources

The Center's ability to achieve its mission is facilitated immeasurably by the building in which the Center is housed, the working space which it provides, and the variety of equipment (vehicles, office, audiovisual, etc.) at its disposal.

The Center attempts to reflect a spirit of generosity and hospitality by sharing many of its material resources with its constituents, symbolic of the collaborative manner in which the Center aims to realize its mission. It utilizes on a regular basis all space in the CSC building for staff offices, conference rooms, student resource room, etc. The Center's coffee house and kitchen facilities are offered to local non-profit groups to prepare and serve fund-raising luncheons and suppers.

The Coffee House is a place to relax, socialize, discuss issues and programs. For smaller meetings, there are Conference Rooms. Information on many social concerns opportunities may be found in the Resource Room. The Reflection Room is a quiet place for prayer, reflection, and meditation.

Our temporary location on Dorr Road in the Old Security Building offers space conducive to networking and community sharing.  In the Summer of 2009 we will be moving into the new building at our permanent location near the Hesburgh Library.
